The SRAM XX SL Eagle Transmission crankset uses a hollow-core carbon crank arm, built to hold up under the high torque of a direct-mount Eagle Transmission drivetrain without adding weight the design doesn't need. The 34T aluminum chainring mounts directly to the crank arm, a T-Type interface built specifically for Eagle Transmission rather than a universal Eagle fit.
