X-Sync 2 Steel Direct Mount Chainring
The SRAM X-Sync 2 chainring is known for exceptional chain retention, reliable shifting performance, quiet operation, low friction, effective mud-shedding, and long wear life. Now, it's available in a more wallet-friendly version made of steel. The X-Sync 2 Steel Direct Mount Chainring gives you the same performance as the aluminum version at a fraction of the cost. There is a weight penalty, yes, but this steel version is actually more durable than its aluminum counterpart. It fits SRAM direct-mount mountain cranksets and is compatible with Eagle 12-speed mountain drivetrains, as well as earlier SRAM 11-speed mountain drivetrains. This option has a 3mm offset, for Boost chainlines (12x148mm rear spacing).

Its a Chainring and it works great.
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
It's a chainring that does chainring things. Got this as a backup for my race kit and actually ended up needing to run it when I bent a tooth on a different chainring. Super durable and did the trick to save me in a pinch. I run a full GX drivetrain and this was perfect.
