Unique palm pad placement works great

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer
Size Bought:
M

Most gloves seem to pad the left and right off the wrist. This puts the pad in the middle, protecting the carpal tunnel. And it works really well. No more numbness! Also easy to put on and take off. It's the first glove I can use on a road bike and a TT bike.

A Size Smaller Still Worked Fine

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

I have been using these gloves for years. Padding is thin but somehow my hands are completely protected and never get numb even after 3+ hour rides. I usually wear XXL. Nobody on the Net had this size in red so I bought XL from Competitive Cyclist and hoped for the best. These gloves fit like a...well, like a glove! Hard to get on (and off) but once on the fit is amazing! They like, disappear on your hand they fit so well and are so comfortable. Very happy to find that the reduced size is really the best one for me.

Too snug

First, I like that these are minimalist. I find that gel padding decreases circulation and comfort (contrary to the hype). These have one simple pad on the palm. That's the good. The bad is they run very small. I normally wear L, ordered XL just in case, and even they are tight. Also, there isn't a pull tab near the wrist to help put them on, and the wrist is very short (I'm okay that they don't have a Velcro strap for securing, I'm a minimalist). I am returning them and not trying the XXLs due to the short wrist without a pull tab.

Great fit and comfort but fell apart

I loved the fit and comfort of these gloves - until they fell apart. The gel insert started shifting out of place pretty quickly and became increasingly difficult to push back in place. This shifting seemed to put pressure on the adhesive holding the fabric covering the gel in place leading to not long after the adhesive failing and the gel coming out. To Specialized credit, they sent another pair via warranty but same thing happened. I tried sewing the fabric back in place which helped but then the gel still kept shifting. So close to being a 4 or 5 star glove, but this issue just makes them a no-go for me.

Pad won't stay in place

Familiarity:
I've used it several times

The pad design is pretty comfortable, but materials and finish leave much to be desired. TLDR the stitching is sloppy and the pad won't stay in place after 1 month.

great for those battling numbness!

Familiarity:
I've put it through the wringer

The difference this glove makes with the issue of numbness is night and day. Before I used these gloves my hands would begin to go numb within the first 20 minutes of a ride. I would be shaking my hands out constantly. These gloves make such a difference that even on long, 40+ mile rides my hands feel fine the entire time. they provide just enough cushion in the center of the palm to keep blood moving throughout the hand but you still feel connected to the bike. I loved them so much, I bought a pair for my mom who has the same issue!
