Great for sun protection but I miss pockets in any shirt. However these are excellent design and construction

The best sun hoody made

This sun hoody does it all. It’s comfortable, stylish and above all functional. The hood even fits over my hat keeping it on. Where I guide it’s sunny and hot all summer. This piece of clothing is as important to me as my rain jacket.

Slim fit?

This shirt is too tight. It is cut differently in the shoulders than your other sun-shirts, which I love. It gives it a “slim fit” look and feel. This goes against one of the primary cooling properties of any sun shirt- to be loose fitting. I gave this away to a very slight teenager. He wore it once and said he doesn’t like how “shows too much” of his chest. As a guide, I liked the idea of the built in gator, but it was uncomfortable due to the tightness of the fit which also makes it too hot. Another critique is the inevitable “you got the wrong size.” The large solar flex shirts fit me perfectly. A large guide hoody was too sizes too small. Fix it.

Home run hoody.

Since I guide on the river I spend way more time in the sun than I’d like to. This hoody does it all. It is light weight, covers my head and neck and additionally all of my face except the area that my sun glasses cover. Comfortably. While it’s necessary in the boat, it still looks good in town. The hood is designed to fit over your cap. I’ll definitely buy more.
