The Scott Free 18 Ski Pole pairs a light aluminum build with the versatility to cover resort laps and backcountry days on the same pair of poles. A 7075 aluminum shaft keeps the swing weight low, and Scott's S4 heat-treated construction meets a strength standard twice that of typical aluminum poles, so the added durability doesn't come at the cost of weight. The interchangeable Pa Ring basket system swaps in a Tour Pro 90mm basket for soft snow or a smaller basket for firmer conditions, and the touring strap comes off entirely for skiers who prefer a strapless grip.
