Light weight beauties!
- Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
These shoes are awesome. Not only did I love the bright color, but they are incredibly light weight with some serious lugs for traction. I climb in Scarpa, so I was hoping these would also be a prefect fit for trail running but they're unfortunately a tad bit too wide for me.
I have a fairly wide front foot with a narrow-ish heel. Overall, the shoe fit okay but I'm training for an ultra and running more than a few miles in these would lead to hot spots and blisters, mainly due to the movement caused by the width. If you have a wider foot and flat arch (and like a spacious toe box), these would be an awesome fit. If these don't work, you can also look into the La Sportiva Bushido's (similar drop and cushion) or the Salomon Speedcross (similar cushion larger drop).
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
I bought these Scarpa Spins to upgrade my running shoes. Overall, they have been fantastic. They are incredibly light and responsive. I typically run 4-7 miles, and they have been as comfortable on mile one as they are on mile seven. I have wide feet, a flat arch and tend to pronate and I have had no fit issues thus far. I typically wear 9.5s, and the 39.5s fit great. Highly recommend these shoes!
