Why We Like The Saucony Guide 17 Running Shoe
Stable and highly cushioned, the Saucony Guide 17 Running Shoe provides comfort and support for our runs, walks, and everyday life. The engineered synthetic mesh keeps things light on our feet while Saucony's proprietary PWRRUN foam weighs in lighter than conventional EVA foam with plenty of bounce and cushy comfort. The Guide also adds a stability platform to support overpronators and help us run safely and comfortably. The new Guide 17 includes several updates, including a wider base, higher sidewalls, and lower 6mm drop.

Comfortable, supportive, sleek look
I've worn these for 3 runs now. Just under 20 miles, and I love them. I got these to wear on my longer runs for marathon training, and they are perfect. Saucony always gets it right! They are light and very soft and comfortable.

Guide 17
These shoes are great for my flat wide feet, it is hard to find a shoe that works for me, these do.

Excellent fit, extreme comfort
I bought this shoe a few months ago and wear them for running and walking. They were comfortable the minute I stepped into them and gripped my narrow heel and low volume (low instep) foot better than any running show I can remember. This is my first Saucony shoe after Asics and Hoka. I am a convert!

Bring back the old Guides!
I have worn Saucony Guide for many years. They are always my go-to running shoe. I bought these in March 2024 to replace my Guide 16 and was surprised (and not happy) with the redesign, but decided to stick with the tried and true, trusting the brand. I'm sorry I did. I have developed Left patellofemoral pain and Left Achilles tendinopathy. The shoes are comfortable, but are causing me to suffer.

Perfect
I normally wear barefoot shoes but got these as I needed more support as I started running. These have been perfect so far and provide the width I needed to be comfortable/was used to with the barefoot shoes.

Wide toe box!
My favorite thing about the shoe is the wide toe box so my toes aren't squished. They are also extremely comfy and I'm able to run long distances without my feet hurting.

HELP! What happened to my Saucony Brand!
I agree with the other review about making Saucony like Hokas...leave them be! The base on these shoes are too wide to get good movement in your ankles and foot. The rocker base and the softness of the shoe make the legs and feet sore. I always commended Saucony on never having a break-in period...I wish I could find the right shoe that I used to wear! My physical therapist liked my Hurricanes due to the narrow base to get good movement out of my ankles and feet after breaking my foot. Seems as if the arches have been lowered in all the shoes...
