Why We Like The Saucony Endorphin Rift Shoe
Light and nimble, the Saucony Endorphin Rift Shoe gets us in the flow and keeps us there. With more freedom than the Endorphin Edge, the Rift gives us more flexibility on technical terrain: The lack of a carbon plate allows the platform to better adapt to rugged trails, ensuring we toe-off with a powerful stance no matter what's underfoot. The moderate stack of springy foam shortens ground contact time for fast transitions, while the unique ghillie lacing keeps us locked in, and the padded heel counter ensures comfort perseveres deep into double-digit miles.

Not well made
These shoes began having issues day one, unstabel insole, less than 20 miles of training the outer sole began peeling away. Was hoping for more so I could alternate training shoes. ON Cloud for the win still.

Not quite.
The neoprene ankle opening is too tight compared to the rest of the shoe that is too loose. I personally couldn't get a snug fit so after a couple multi hour runs my fit were sore and blistered. I lovey.otjer Saucony shoes but these ones are a miss.

Great and excited for a future iteration
I've used this for east coast trail running, including a 22-mile, 9,000' vert day. Fantastically comfortable. The PWRRUNPB feels a tad too firm for my liking when compared to last year's Xodus Rift or the Endorphin Pro 3, but does have that great light and responsive feel. In a perfect world I'd shape a millimeter or two off the lugs. Otherwise, stupendous.

The greatest run
These are the comfortable shoes ever. It feels as if you walking on air with a bounce and spring in every step.

Game changer
These hiking shoes have been a game changer for feeling secure when hiking on gravel and steep inclines. I really like them. Design wise, the color/veneer around the base of the shoes started rubbing off. But the functionality is great!

This is my first trail running shoe in many many years. In the past I have always felt that train runners were stiff and kind of clunky. That’s not the case anymore. I purchased this shoe to use for train running as well as hiking. I’ve taken them in many scenarios from hikes in the White Mountains to New Hampshire to a hike in Idaho and for local trail runs on roots, rocks and dirt. I find the shoes to be true to size. I had seen some reviews online that recommended sizing up so I initially ordered an 8 and they were way too big. For me this shoe is true to size in my usual women’s 7.5. I don’t typically go for a bootie style because they tend to fit too big for me. That is not the case here. I have a narrow foot and skinny ankle and the bootie style fit is great for me. I’d only recommend this shoe for someone with a narrow to average foot. The shoe has been great in all types of terrain an I have loved them for both trail running and hiking. The only downfall is water drainage. I dunked a foot recently during a river crossing and it did take a bit for the water to drain. Otherwise I can’t say enough things about this shoe. I am newish to trail running and I am also coming off of an Achilles injury and I really enjoy the cushion, stability and comfort that this shoe provides.

Decent shoe, just a little small for me
It is a well-made shoe. I should have sized up a half-size, and because I did wear them once, out of my house, I was unable to return them. It is difficult for me to get my foot in the sock-type opening. In the right size, they would be great!
