Why We Like It
Santa Cruz built the Vala around a four-bar suspension platform rather than VPP specifically to accommodate the Bosch motor without compromising pivot placement or suspension performance. The result is a frame that pedals cleanly, stays active under braking, and handles the kind of rough trail feedback that exposes lesser suspension designs on long descents.
