The Santa Cruz Nomad CC frame does the heavy lifting here. Carbon CC construction keeps the chassis stiff and light while the lower-link VPP suspension delivers 170mm of rear travel that feels controlled and predictable on the hardest descents. The Fox Float X2 Factory shock brings four-way adjustability to every ride, and the Fox 38 Float Factory fork up front matches the rear with Kashima-coated 38mm stanchions and the updated Grip X2 damper. Together, they make a suspension package that adapts to riders as much as it adapts to terrain.

The SRAM Eagle Transmission drivetrain is the real workhorse of this build. The X0 Eagle crankset, XS-1295 cassette, Eagle 90 T-Type rear derailleur, and matching trigger shifter all work together as one system, shifting cleanly under load and holding up to the kind of riding the Nomad was born for. SRAM Maven Silver hydraulic brakes front and rear with 200mm rotors bring serious stopping power to steep, sustained descents. The Reserve 30 SL Alloy MX wheelset rounds out the build with DT Swiss 350 hubs, 30mm internal rims, and a mixed 29/27.5 setup that delivers the best of both wheel sizes.
