    size up if layering...

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: Med then Lrg

this is a great jacket! i have 2 colors. it's a classic as well. doesn't make u look like a marshmallow either. i did get a medium and it fit TTS, but when I went back to wear it when i had a sweater on, i couldn't move my arms comfortably. thanks to Backcountry's amazing customer service, i was able to exchange for a large that allows me more room in the shoulders and chest (36C on Top - Sz 4 on bottom) - great colors (i have the ballerina and the military)

    Warm!

This in an outside coat for sure! It's super warm. I find it true to size. If you have really broad shoulders, size up. I climb, so my shoulders are a bit broad, but my normal medium size is great.

The fit is really flattering. In this photo, my hands are pushing the coat out, but it's really got a good shape to it, and doesn't make me feel like a huge marshmellow

    Warm!

    Great jacket!

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size

I got this jacket in Anthracite and I really love it! It looks and feels great. Unlike some others, I didn't find the sizing off (I DO need to take a larger size in Moncler, but not here). The wrist cuffs are great for walking my dog and giving him treats (while staying warm), so he loves it too. Excellent price for what you get.

    Great color and style

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: Small

I really love this jacket for its unique color(s), and it fits really well. I was on the smaller size of size small (according to the size chart), and I'm happy I went with the small because I can layer under it. If you're close to being a size up and want to layer, you might want to consider going with the larger size to accommodate.

    runs small

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: medium

While I LOVE the color, I ordered the red in a medium, the sizing of the jacket is not right at all. I typically wear a 6-8 in a top and this jacket was tight up top. It zipped up and was perfect in the waist area but not made for the woman who has a bust, not saying even a large bust, just a bust at all. A large would have been too long in the arms and length. Too bad because the jacket is so cute and I finally stepped out of my comfort zone to get an actual pop of color instead of the typical black.

Would you say these run tight? Or is there room to layer in your true size?
