I like them but.....
I love Solomon's and have been wearing them for years. I changed to the Aero Volt from the Sonic (discontinued) and they are great except the tongue is really stiff and has caused an abrasion where it rubs right above my ankle! I don't get the purpose of the tongue being that sturdy.

Great shoe

peppy steppers that beat the heat!
These shoes are flying under the radar but are crazy-good for uptempo workouts! They are my coolest most breathable shoes, and the traction is solid and durable even when it’s wet. It’s very lightweight. I docked a star because they are grossly oversized. I’m pretty consistent across brands, and have other Salomon trail shoes of same size, but these were .5-1 size larger. Also, the men’s colorways were reviewed and advertised, but they went and made different women’s colorways (pink and pastel, blech!) Why oh why must companies bait and switch on us ladies? So that’s what kept me form the 5 stars.

Comfy and cushioned every day shoe
I've needed some new road trainers for a while and I opted for the Aero Volt. They're just what I needed for an every day run; comfy, cushioned and they feel pretty sturdy too!

Light weight, Comfortable ride, good stability
I am very happy with the Aero Volt. The breathable mesh is perfect for summer runs in the hot weather. Also love how lightweight the shoe is and the wider fit. The shoe is very stable even on uneven road surfaces. My only complaint is the extremely long laces, which are so long that I have to tuck them into the shoe so not to trip on them. Currently looking for replacement laces. For the price point, would be great not to have to purchase another set of laces.
