A 30mm internal width and 44mm external shape let modern gravel tires sit wide and round, spreading the contact patch without tipping into an aero penalty. Hollow Hook construction pulls weight from the rim's outer edge, keeping the wheel light while holding up to pinch-flat impacts on rough terrain.
