Just because it's five o'clock on a Friday doesn't mean that your style is done working. Lace up the Red Wing Heritage Weekender Oxford Shoe and take on the town with sophistication and comfort. The leather upper turns heads in bar rooms all over the city, while the ComfortForce footbed keeps your foot feeling fresh when you've been standing all day. Red Wing Weekender Manufacturing
Just because the Weekenders are not work boots doesn’t mean they aren’t built to be rugged companions. They’re hand-made right next to all of our other Heritage boots at Plant 2 in Red Wing, Minnesota. And the durable leather for their uppers is sourced from the S.B. Foot Tanning Company just down the road, where we’ve been getting our leather for over a century.
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
- Fit: True to size
I was waiting for RedWing to eventually break out of the work boot/shoe market and make a comfortable casual shoe. I was very happy as the shoe is similar to what is already on the market but the quality is better. I recently took my pair to Europe for vacation and found out that I preferred them to the gym shoes I brought because the were more comfortable and the leather gave a bit. They are nothing like work shoes and will not require a break in period. One thing I would like to add that I wear a size 10 in the heritage line (with regular socks which are the same thickness as gym socks) and was also the same size in these.
Lightweight oxford for summer!
Super light and ready to take on that summer trip you've been thinking about all year!
