- I've put it through the wringer
It's both a decent compact lantern, and a spare headlamp. I bring it on all my car camping trips. Definitely worth $20 if you have an extra headlamp lying around.

Fun gift for people who love ham mocking and have a nice headlamp. Great for camping or just a late night up in the mountains.

- I've used it several times
I have used this with several headlamps. It works best if you fold the band in the case. I have the Reactik+ and i din't have any trouble getting the lamp and headband in the case. It works quite well. For the Reactik you will need to place the headlamp in constant mode rather than reactive. The controls we all easy to get to and use while in the case as the case is a flexible plastic. The best result I had was with my Tikka XP as it has a diffuser mode in the headlamp. this the diffusion of the lamp and then the case the light was very balanced and covered a wide area. The Reactik didn't defuse as well but was still good to use.

- I returned this product before using it
I love the idea of this diffuser case! However, it did not work for either of my Petzl headlamps: Reactik and Zipka. Without a band the Zipka just rattles around in the case and you would have to stuff something small under it to keep it in the diffuser. The Reactik fit well, but the face that produces light is angled such that it cannot shine straight up into the diffuser and I could not access the on/off switch easily. Too bad as the case seems really well made.
