Not comfortable
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
I try to avoid using it because its just not comfortable. Ive regretted the purchase. The large on my body is pretty good and tight on the thighs but the chamois can still move and is honestly just subpar.

I usually wear large in the quest non bibs, order same size with bib, but runs smaller.

I own several bib shorts and these by far are the most uncomfortable. Lots on saddle pain over time. I cannot recommend.

Not a comfortable fit
- Familiarity:
- I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
The seams are not flat locked so they're easily felt against the skin which is uncomfortable unto itself. The chamois is just polyester foam, and it doesn't have relief channels like other brands and it wasn't centered. Lastly, had to readjust the bibs periodically due to riding up. No one wants to be thinking about their apparel while riding. Would not recommend.

Reasonable for the Price
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
The material feels nice. Fit is mostly as expected. My only complaint is the length of the legs. They are a little short to start and then I find they ride up quite a bit, but this does not seem to impact comfort. Chamois is what you would expect for $70. These are good for commuting and lunch rides, but I don't think I would want to wear them for rides much longer than an hour. All-in-all a decent buy for $70.

Good basic bibs
- Familiarity:
- I've put it through the wringer
The QUEST Bib Short is the entry-level bib in Pearl Izumi's collection. I find that it is perfectly comfortable (for me) for up to about 30 miles. Anything more than that, and I start to get "antsy" in the saddle. The materials feel nice, and the quality is typical of Pearl Izumi gear. The leg grippers are minimal and they do ride up on me a little bit, but not terrible. These have the shortest inseam length of any bib in the current Pearl Izumi lineup, at 9.5" (for size Medium). Overall a pretty decent bib short at full MSRP, but if you can catch it on sale then it's hard to say no. Sure, the higher-end bibs in Pearl's lineup _are_ nicer... but the next step up is also more than 2x the price of this bib.

Your Average Bib

Looks good and fits okay. There is way too much movement in the male precisous area. It has a thin chamois, therefore, this bib does not do well for rides longer than 25 miles. I would not buy it again.
