Like all Peak Design equipment, the details are what matters for this tripod. It comes with multiple features you'd expect in a carbon fiber tripod. It is extremely portable, does everything you would need from an adjustability perspective. It can mount the camera up or down (if you'd ever need to do that) as well as has a cell phone adaptor which stores in the center post. In my first uses of this tripod it adjusts easily and was solid in holding my Nikon Z8 camera with lenses.

The tripod is super light, packs super small, is very stable and looks amazing. What else would you need from a travel tripod?

I did some extensive research before buying my carbon fiber tripod. You never know how much your aluminum tripod moves until you read up on it! This tripod is worth it's weight in gold if you ask me. I LOVE how compact the tripod is, it waste no open space like other tripods and fits snuggly in the case. It's light weight and sturdy, easy to mount the camera (Z9 in my scenario) has extra locking features. High recommend this tripod it's worth the investment.

Light and compact a perfect travel companion

I bought the tripod a while ago and since then it has been my travel companion whenever landscape photographing was possible. It is very compact and fits my carry-on with no problem. It is sturdy enough, very versatile and easy to operate, even with gloves. It has faced salt water, sand and snow and is still perfectly usable (albeit with some scratches due to my frequently less-than-careful placement). Avter many years of use, I'm still very happy of the purchase.

Compact and Efficient

A bit heavy but packs down small; perfect for side-pocket on backpacks. I wish you could reverse the legs all the way.

Such a quality product

Bought this years ago during the kickstarter campaign, and it's such a wonderful tripod to have especially for traveling! It's so compact and light compared to traditional tripods.

Absolutely worth it.

The carbon is so light and adorable. It holds up well and all the little features show how much thought was put into designing this. I love the ball head design for absolutely every situation.

Excellent piece of equipment!

This is a sturdy, thoughtfully-made tripod with handy features that just keep revealing themselves to me (e.g. I didn't realize until today that there is a hidden, magnetized phone mount that snaps easily into the clip!). The ball bearing head and quick lock features make slight, sturdy adjustments a breeze. I can't overstate how much of an improvement this tripod is over the cheap one I'd been using. So, so happy I made the decision to invest in a nice piece of equipment -- it's really opening up what's possible in my photography!
