Perfect fit, BUT SUPER SCRATCHY!!!

This cardigan is THE BEST fit I have ever had!!! Also, the color and pattern are GORGEOUS!!!! I LOVED IT SO MUCH!!!! BUT!!! It is SUPER SCRATCHY FABRIC!!!! I couldn't deal with it, so unfortunately I had to return it!!!! But I loved everything about it and want it so badly!!! PATAGONIA PLEASE, make it in a NOT SCRATCHY fabric!!!

I really love this sweater. It fits wonderfully and the color is beautiful (I got Nouveau Green). I bought the medium and it is a more generous fit than what you see in the product photos, I could have gone with the small but I prefer a loose sweater. For reference, I’m petite and athletically built. Now, it is a bit itchy, but, many animal fibers, especially non-merino wool, are so I always expect this might be a thing. I was able to wear it with a short sleeve t-shirt and wasn’t uncomfortable. I gave it the 4 stars because of the texture but that is just the nature of the fiber. Overall, I love it and am considering buying the Forge Gray one.

I am a Patagonia fan for many reasons [have a raincoat that is over 40 years old]. As I have other wool items from Patagonia I didn't think the fabric would be a problem. It is. I have hand washed it a few times with hopes it would soften [and be less itchy] - but at this point, it might simply be passed to a friend. I probably should have returned ... oh well, live and learn.
