    Love these!

    Familiarity:I've used it several times
    Fit:True to size
    Size BoughtExtra Small
    Height5` 3"
    Weight128 lbs

These pants are amazing. I'm a size 0/2 or 25-27 and wear an extra small. I have larger quads and never like pants that are super tight on my hips/butt and these are perfect! Buying my second pair!

And anyone who knows me, knows I have a loooot of clothing. ;) You can hike, climb, dance, sleep, chase all of your dreams in these!!! If you love yourself even a little bit, you'll buy your own pair. heart-eyes emoji. 11/10. 5 stars.

Finally Patagonia pants that fit me!

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These fit my curves wonderfully. I am a sz 12 pants and have struggled with Patagonia sizing being too narrow for my round booty. These are wonderful, and extremely comfortable! Very comfortable to move around in- they pass the bending over, squatting, sitting tests with flying colors. The high waist is a plus for me. Perfect summer hiking pants. Glad I bought two pair.

    Shame on Backcountry for charging...

Familiarity:I returned this product before using it
    Fit:Runs large

Reviews make it clear the pants aren't sized great, so you're pretty much just guessing on size...and then Backcountry CHARGES you to make an exchange, an asinine amount. I thought I'd give them another try after the lawsuits and all that social impact they were hit with but obviously I won't shop here again until they offer free returns like every competitor, shame on me for not reading the fine print, I shouldn't have had to. Returned, paid their lame fee to do so, and ordered on Amazon.

I was just going to say the same thing as I just learned the hard way too. To charge for shipping both ways on exchanges is definitely not competive. I will pay for the return and by the item in the correct size somewhere else. Not cool.

    Great Hiking Pant

    Familiarity:I've used it several times
    Fit:Runs large
    Size Boughts
    Height5` 6"
    Weight122 lbs

The fit is pretty good. I bought both XS and S based on the reviews. The XS is fitting but I found the S a bit more comfortable in the thighs and length. I agree with the others in that the waist is kind of loose. Also, I do not mind the ever so sleight higher waisted coverage. Actually provided much-needed coverage while climbing/hiking in Petra. I purchased 2 pairs and have loved every moment with each.

    Nice quality, weird sizing

Patagonia always make a really great quality product however I feel like their sizing is all over the place. I’m a small in every brand of pant I own but these in small were a pretty awkward fit. I didn’t mind the length or that they are somewhat high wasted but just far too loose so they wouldn’t actually stay at the waste. Probably easiest to try on in store first if you can and purchase online for the savings.

Great if you're looking for high waist

Familiarity:I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I usually wear a medium but got a small after reading other reviews- this was the right choice except for the length, they seem a little on the short side. They are also VERY HIGH WAISTED- great if that's your thing. I have long legs and a long torso and a decent sized rear, and these still come up well above my belly button. The stone blue is definitely a brighter blue than pictured- I looked at them on multiple computers and my phone and the picture looks like a more muted blue than what I received. That being said, they are still super comfortable and fairly flattering. The high waist and jogger length will make them perfect for peddling around town.

Ok wow these pants are amazing! I have been searching for a high waisted/jogger-style hiking pant for a while and these are IT! At 5'3" and short waisted, these are definitely high rise on me (probably fit TTS mid rise on others) and full length, though the elastic on the ankle does allow for me to hike them up and make them more cropped as needed. Just amazing!

I'm obsessed with these pants! To me, they are the perfect cross between yoga pants and hiking pants--exactly what I need for warmth, comfort, and sun and bug protection while camping. I guess they might run big; not terribly so, but if you are between sizes you definitely should size down. These pants are very flattering and I'm so glad I found them on sale (though I would have paid full price for the quality!).

I got these pants to protect my legs from the sun on my long hikes. I was a little worry about being hot, but that was not a issue. They are super comfortable and light fabric. I did a 22 mile hike with sun, rain mud and climbed boulders!! I am 5' 4 ,123 lb Small fits really good, even my 21 year old daughter thinks that the pants are super cute!

I initially ordered one size too big and had to reorder for the right size. And they are perfect! Very comfortable, lightweight, great for hiking/backpacking and they are also very flattering in the derriere! Super happy!

    Super Flattering

Familiarity:I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share
    Fit:Runs large

Gave these as a gift after I saw my sister wearing a pair. They are super super cute and you can totally move in them. However, I’ve been told by my sister and the gift receiver that they run big. They both had to size down. It’s literally the only pant my sister or mom will wear.

I purchased these to use as outdoor work pants in the spring, summer and early fall. The material is thin so they’ll be comfortable when it’s warm, but I worry about durability. I appreciate the pockets and the stretchy waist band that is neither too high or low waisted. The UPF and polygiene details are great as well as Patagonia’s concern for the environment. Instead of the somewhat uncomfortable and annoying banded cuffed ankle, I would have preferred the pants be offered in different lengths (short, regular, long). And perhaps an adjustable drawstring at the waist would be nice. I expected to fit in size M because I’m a size 6-8 in jeans, but the waist was so big! I sized down to S and now the waist fits, but I don’t know how long the smalls will accommodate my athletic legs and butt!

    Versatile Comfort

    Familiarity:I've used it several times
    Fit:True to size
    Size Boughts
    Height5` 3"
    Weight130 lbs

I bought these pants with the hopes of finding a pant that i can at the flip of a coin leave my office and go for a hike or practice some yoga. These pants fit the bill. they are slouchy and comfortable while still flattering my figure. The material is light and breathable and seems to be pretty resilient to scratch and tears. They fit a little on the loose side, however, the elastic waistband keeps them snug at the waist. The waistband is a mid-rise so hits my body right beneath the navel. If you like a more form-fitting pant I would size down. Patagonia is known for their excellent standard throughout their line of clothing, and this pant is a testament to that model. Not only does Patagonia pay close attention to details that an active person would love to see, they also stand for so many environmental efforts that we can all be excited about. I do not see a need for another pair of slouchy and functional pants. :D

Hi, I'm 5'0" and weight about 135, do you think these will be too long? thanks

    Everyday Pant

These are super lightweight. The elastic waist and pant material make these pants extremely comfortable hiking pants. They run a little big, if you are typically in between sizes, I would choose the smaller size.

I wear these pants all the time, whether it's at the crag, hiking, lounging around, or just wearing out and about. They do run pretty loose, but that's why I like them. They're a perfect thin, stretchy pant for all your adventures. And I will say that they aren't the mostttt flattering pants I've owned, but the functionality of them trumps that.

I am going to Egypt for 2 weeks in December and looking for some "adventure pants" that I can hike/travel in and wouldn't mind getting dirty and wearing a few days in a row. I am curvy...5'3 and about 190 lbs. Patagonia (in my opinion) runs small but long. I really want to try these pants because of all the positive reviews and the forgiving fit but want to make sure these are the right choice. Also looking at TNF Aphrodite Motion crop and Kuhl Horizon Skinny Pants which I read run small. Thanks in advance!

Is this an older version of the happy hike pants. The back is different than the ones on the Patagonia website.
