    New Camping Pants

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 27
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 140lbs

I can totally wear these from the office to the campsite, no problem. I'm 5'7 and 140 ish and bought a 27. I fit the 26s well, too--they were a bit tighter in the knees and the like, which honestly would probably wear better with time. But for now, I like the looseness off this pair, especially given their camping-esque color and generally chill fit. Definitely suggest. Also, for reference, I wear a 26 in most other jeans/pants and a medium in Patagonia's Baggies (I like 'em a little more on the baggy side).

    Purchased a 2nd Color

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

Love these so much, I picked up a second pair - the smolder blue is exactly as pictured, a darker grey/soft blue combo. Purchased a 30 typically where 8/10s these have a good amount of stretch and length, I am 5' 8" and these hit just under the ankle bone.

    Soft Patagonia Cords

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I got these because I was bored of wearing jeans all the time, and I have not been disappointed. These are really soft, warm and comfy. I have them in the blue and the color looks great with brown boots. The one thing I don't love about these pants is that the knees do get a little stretched out when yo u are wearing them , but they shrink right back up when you wash them.

    Great cords

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 155lbs

These seem to be great cords. The only negative I have is they are a little long on me. I usually wear a size 6, and ordered a 28. They fit perfect everywhere else, but I'll have to cuff them about an inch. But I still think I'll wear these to death this fall/winter. Great deep green color too.

    Good cords

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 28
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 140lbs

Good pair of cords, nice skinny fit. These do run true to size, and are skinny in the hips, so if you are between sizes I would order up. I like the length, (I'm 5'7). I did order a size 27 and returned for a 28 because the hips and waist were tight.

    Not for tall girls

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs large
    • Height: 5'10"
    • Weight: 120lbs

I was stoked on these pants, but when they arrived I was bummed to see that they were about 4-5 inches too short. This is a common problem for me so I wasn't surprised, but it's disappointing that these aren't available with a longer inseam for taller ladies. They fit great everywhere else and the fabric was very soft, I would have loved them if they were longer.

For reference, I'm 5 10' and wear a 0 Tall in Prana pants. The 26 fit well everywhere other than the length.

    Patagonia Corduroy

    • Fit: True to size

I wanted to give this 5 stars but the cutting don't seem consistent. I got one in Navy, the other in Green. However, the one in Navy is noticeably more 'fitting' around the thighs and waist despite both being the same size. Perhaps, they were from different factories because I doubt my legs grew several inches in between trying on. Apart from that, they're true to size and everything seems really well put together. No doubt some of the comfiest pants I've had :)

    First pair of chords!

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size
    • Size Bought: 27
    • Height: 5'7"
    • Weight: 130lbs

These pants are awesome. I was worried they wouldn't be stretchy enough and stiff but that was all wrong, THEY ARE GREAT. I love the light teal color of the Mogul Blue . I got these in a size 27 and they fit my waist perfect but are a little tight on my thighs. Nothing uncomfortable but a little tighter than preferred. To give a size comparison I have a size 28 in the slim denim pant, which the 27's definitely were too small everywhere. The only other thing I wish Patagonia did differently was different length options, I'm pretty standard height at 5' 7" and I typically roll them when wearing them. At the end of the day I think these pants are great and definitely am keeping my eye out for getting another pair in a different color when my size is available.

    At last

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

    • Size Bought: 24
    • Height: 5'0"
    • Weight: 105lbs

I'd been searching for the perfect pair of cords since I grew out of my old favorites around...age 12. Seriously--good cords are hard to come by, and these are it. Thick, soft fabric that feels like it'll hold up for years, and rich colors that offer a refreshing departure from denim, especially with a flannel.

I've had similar experiences as other reviewers with the legs giving with time, without stretching out so much as to seem like an entirely different pair of pants. If I could change 2 things: slightly higher rise (to accommodate those of us with skiing/biking butts) and different stitching on the belt loops. While yanking these up on my 2nd or 3rd wear, I heard a loud snap on mine. Luckily, it wasn't anything a talented friend and a needle couldn't fix. Even with a few imperfections, I'd buy another pair of these cords again in a heartbeat (and might well).

    Way too tight

    • Familiarity: I returned this product before using it
    • Fit: Runs small
    • Size Bought: 25
    • Height: 5'4"
    • Weight: 110lbs

I usually wear a size 0 in pants, and ordered the size 25 and 26 in these pants in El Cap Khaki to try on. I've got scrawny legs but both sizes just about cut off circulation and had unflattering creases where they were pulled too tight around my hips, knees, and calves. If I had gone up to a size 27 they would have fallen off of my backside. I wanted to love these pants but they just didn't work.

    Mom Cords

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times
    • Fit: True to size
    • Height: 5'8"
    • Weight: 150lbs

I bought these for my mom, here is what she had to say, "These are great cords. I've been around for a long time and I know a good pair of cords when I wear them. They're very soft, stretchy, durable and true to size. Normally if I buy a pair of jeans I need to have a good squat session to make them feel like worn-in jeans, but these already had that feeling right out of the box. I highly recommend these pants to anyone wanting a quality pair of leg huggers."

    Perfect Cord.

I have to agree with all of the good remarks in the previous posts. These cords roc, they're a bit thicker and more durable than some of the other cords on the market. Plenty of length, average rise, and slim with just enough room around the ankle. Purchased the Saddle color and it's just as it's pictured. I'm 5' 8" 150, went with the 30 and love them, they're snug but stretched out a bit in the waste and knees as I wore them.

      My First Cords

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 29
      • Height: 5'6"
      • Weight: 140lbs

These cords have been perfect for the fall--winter transition, as well as true winter, here in the Wasatch.

They have held up well through work-days, short hikes with the dog, and grabbing bevvies during happy hour. The fit is true (I went with a 29, I'm pretty true to that, usually a 8 in jeans), and flattering.

I bought two pairs! EDIT: Three!

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 28
      • Height: 5'8"
      • Weight: 140lbs

These are my favorite pants. I first bought them in dark blue, then in the Saddle color AND Bear Brown. They are professional enough to wear to work with a button-up, but also super comfortable and casual enough for weekends.

      My autumnal go-to.

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs large
      • Size Bought: 24
      • Height: 5'3"
      • Weight: 110lbs

Patagonia has made great strides in terms of the fit of their pants in the past 6 years or so, and the Fitted Corduroy is evidence of such advances. I purchased the green and get compliments every single time I wear these pants! I sort of wish I had a pair for every day of the week, but you know - priorities and adulting, lol. The cord itself is pretty traditional in thickness. I wear these pants for casual wear and outdoor climbing, but have found that the pants are a magnet for chalk and lends themselves to looking kinda gross by the end of a session.

I wear a 25 in Patagonia's slim fit jeans, but was given fair warning that the fitted cords stretch out - a lot. So, I picked up a 24 and while they were initially pretty tight, they weren't necessarily uncomfortable to begin with. However, with consistent wear, they did stretch out a little, which gave my hips a little more breathing room than my initial impressions - without bagging out in the knees all weirdly (which is a huge selling point for me, personally). For fit reference, I wear a 24 / 25 in Gap denim, 25 in JCrew, and a 00 in Prana. All of my running bottoms and baselayers from Patagonia are all XS.

As for the waist band rise, I would say it's moderate. However, I'm also 5'3" so I think it's relative to my height. And while I ordinarily have trouble with the length of one-size-fits-all pant lengths, I don't seem to have that trouble with these pants. I could see someone who is shorter than me having some difficulties, but then you could just cuff them if you'd like.

Bottom line: super cute, super versatile, and way comfortable.

      FAVORITES!

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size
      • Size Bought: 26
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 115lbs

Love these cords! Super soft and comfortable and great fit. Bought in STONE which I love in the Autumn but have worn on cooler Summer evenings hiking to the Hot Springs and they were perfect!

      comfortable but snug in calves

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: 26
      • Height: 5'8"
      • Weight: 128lbs

If I hadn't read one of the other reviews about them stretching out, I would have returned them. I'm a 26 in Loft, Gap, and AE, so I ordered a 26. They were so tight! They now fit well in the waist and mostly the thighs, but even after many wears and a few washes they are tight in the calves and (weirdly) the knees. I don't really have big calves, either.

The length is a little shorter than I'd like, but as expected and runs true to the measurement given.

      comfortable but snug in calves

      Comfortable and great fit

      • Familiarity: I've used it several times
      • Fit: True to size

I find the fit to be great, even for someone with a bigger butt and thighs. They stretch well. Great length for someone with slightly longer legs. highly recommend. Great quality.

      My go to pants

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
      • Fit: Runs small
      • Size Bought: 29
      • Height: 5'4"
      • Weight: 128lbs

These are so soft and comfy. They wash well with no shrinking. The 32 inch inseam is 2 inches too long for me but still look great cuffed at the bottom. The butt in these pants never look stretched out or saggy. I have a 28 inch waist and a 37.5 hip measurement. The bleached stone color is more of a beige than gray. I will definitely order more in different colors. I did yoga in them while waiting for a friend who was in the ER. I play on my knees with my dogs in these and they always hold up to abuse and look great.
