Excellent light weight jacket
I am thrilled with my recent purchase of a jacket. It is an absolute delight to wear as it is incredibly lightweight, yet provides ample warmth to keep me comfortable in chilly weather. What's more, the jacket serves a dual purpose - it can be worn as a mid-layer underneath a heavier coat on colder days or as a main layer in moderate weather. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with my purchase and would highly recommend this jacket to anyone looking for a versatile and cozy outerwear option.

Nice but..

My husband liked the jacket a lot but he hoped it was thicker than the other Patagonia jackets he had. We were going to exchange it but the packed jacket (ready for mailing) found its way to the recycling bin, and sadly lost.

Down Fill Weight - 100 Grams
For anyone wondering, I contacted Patagonia and the AlpLight uses 100 grams of 800-fill down, compared to the Down Sweater Jacket's 95 grams of 800-fill. Not sure why Patagonia refuses to list down fill weights on their website. Rab and Feathered Friends make it easy to judge a down jacket's potential warmth by listing these facts.
