Fantastic cycling hat!
I am so happy with this hat. It’s exactly what I was looking for. A thin warm hat that covers my ears and fits under my bicycle helmet. Thank you sooo much!

Too small
I ordered a large but extra large would probably have worked if available. It wasn't. I was pleased with weight and feel of the beanie and would have found a niche among my hats had it fit.

Best hat I've ever owned!
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- large
I love this hat! Although very thin it is incredibly warm as the liner totally seals out the wind. Better yet the hat is sort of "stretchy" and thus does not move around on your head. I really like this style of had because it allows you to leave earflaps up or put them down according to weather conditions. Trouble is the two previous hats of this style I've owned are constantly shifting around on your head and the flaps wind up blocking you vision. As I am a photographer that pretty much kills the deal.

Lightweight Headwear Ready for The Cold and Wind
Fits perfectly over Head, Ears and Back of Neck. Stays in place and the adjustable Under the Chin Strap guarantees that it's going nowhere. Stows away in any zippered pocket or Stash Pocket ready for the Cold and Wind. I really enjoy this Cold Weather Head Gear. Take it with me anytime Cold and Wind are sure to present themselves. Great Product.

Low Quality Replacement
I purchased the same hat 20 years ago and recently lost it. The new model pales in comparison to what I originally purchased - thinner material, weaker stitching, less durable feel.

Needs to be a bit "bigger" to be perfect
Great hat except for one thing. If the large size was about 20% "bigger" it would be awesome. Slightly tight and because of Goretex it doesn't stretch much Otherwise it's awesome

Love this hat
I wear it fishing over my ball caps. Very warm and helps hold my hat on running down lake.

keeps your ears warm
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i use it daily on cool or cold days while commuting with my bike. it keeps my ears warm and that's the most important thing a hat can do in my opinion. with other hats, sometimes they don't cover my whole ear, so the bottom of my ears freeze to death.

The Micro-Bikini of Peruvian Hats
I thought this hat would be more substantial. I couldn't believe this hat was in the package when it arrived. What I was hoping to be a serious Winter hat turned out to be a thin, minimal, sporty hat meant more for running or as a helmet liner. It does have a strong seal around your face but this also acts like a tympanum (like a stethoscope) to magnify rubbing or tapping near your ears. Fit on the headband was too tight for my 23.5 head. I would definitely size this as L rather than L/XL.
