Perfect sun hat!

I took this hat backpacking in the Arizona desert for several days and it was perfect. Lightweight, easy to pack (takes up no space and doesn't get all wrinkly), was never too hot on my head, and the wide brim gave me the sun protection I needed out there. Highly recommend.

The smallest size is a S/M which I ordered; way too big on me, and the brim size is so large it looks ridiculous - like a little girl wearing her dad's hat. Also feels quite heavy for a warm-weather sun-protective hat. Returning.

Nice hat, needs some design refinement

While I like the hat generally, the brim is too floppy, there is no way to adjust it and it flops as it feels like it. If the brim was just a bit stiffer with some reinforcement wire to adjust, it would be perfect. Right now it feels like a noodle flapping in the wind and drooping in my eyes and I can't adjust it. I can't return because I took off the tags.....someone want to buy this from me?

Perfect blend of style and function!

I got the color Samba and love it! I normally purchase a medium in Outdoor Research hats and looking at the size chart a L/XL would be too big for me and the S/M ran a risk of being too tight. I opted for the S/M and am glad I did. It felt a bit snug on my head the first few times I wore it but it either stretched out or I got used to it and now it fits fine. So far I've only used it for casual outdoor use and a few short trails. It's the perfect blend of function and style. I didn't really need another hat but I'm so glad I bought this one!

All my friends want one

A comfortable sun hat that works well for beach life. The first time I wore it all the women I was walking with decided they would order it too! Packs easily, has a cord so it won't fly off in the wind.

Great hat for summer water activities

Great hat that offers maximum protection without being a sombrero. Breathable, good fit, holds up well to getting wet and squished. Chin trap has a slide lock which is very handy for those windy water days.
