Fav mtn bike shorts to date
Being a plus size rider, it's difficult to find shorts that are comfortable, breathable, have a good stretch, and actually look good. These shorts are all of the above plus some. The pockets are great for phones/keys not much else, which is ideal or else you end up putting everything in there and look like a chipmunk. I do wish they had belt loops. The waste is slightly too big but the legs fit like a dream. They don't slide down too much but I do find myself having to adjust a bit more when stopping for water/looking at a map. But great shorts over all!

OR has always been my go to for everything outdoor apparel, so I was stoked to see they're making MTB gear now! The Freewheel shorts blow every other pair of shorts I own out of the water. They're true to size, durable (haven't crashed them yet though), and insanely comfortable. The locking snap is really nice too! I'm usually a large in shorts across the board with thick thighs, and the 12 fit perfectly with no gapping in the waist.

OR being a solid brand in snow, to no surprise do I love these MTB shorts.. WOW seriously the best fitting shorts I own and I have more shorts then a normal person should. Super stretchy, PERFECT inseam (just above the knee), phone pocket ideal and waist is perfection... insert chef's kiss here. Definitely worth the investment because this will be the only pair you will want to wear!

I was excited to see OR is making MTB product now! These shorts are awesome. I am anywhere between a 8-12/L in bottoms, and I got the size 10. The fit is spot on. I love the slide lock snap closure, and they seem super durable. I am deciding if I need a second color now!
