My parka problem solved for good w this one!!

This parka was a lifesaver as my football team made it deep in the playoffs. Incredibly warm and very flattering. Will use this for trips snowshoeing and snowboarding too! Great value! Very well made.

Warm and comfy, not flattering

Bought this coat when my old go-to cold weather jacket fell apart. I use it for around town in Jasper, Canada winters. I haven't tested it on a really cold snap yet, but it keeps me warm without many layers in ~-10'C weather. I like the length, high collar, hood, extended sleeves, and lined pockets. I will echo previous reviewers in my cons. The outer fabric does indeed pick up pet hair, and the shape of the coat is really not flattering. I sized down and wouldn't want to go any smaller based on how it fits around the shoulders, but it still has no hint of a waist. My husband's comments were "You look strong... sturdy... no wind is going to knock you over... um... cozy?" If you have anything in the pockets you look even more poofy. As others have said, I purchased this coat for function and not fashion, and having purchased it on a great sale I am happy with it. But, at the original price point, OR really should be able to have produced something just as functional that looks good too.

I got this for my daughter for Christmas, she is having a baby and needed a coat to get through winter that was big enough or rather accommodate the bump!! This works great it has a bottom zipper so she can unzip from bottom up when needed and side zippers for added hip room. It fits great in a large with room for bump, soft inside and warm!! I am really impressed by outdoor research products quality. She loves this coat and says it's perfect!

Just what I needed

Was looking for a biggie parka that had room for hips and I got it! I ordered a size XL and my hip measurement is 45". It fits great with the side zip closed and I like that I can open them for more room when I sit down or have bulkier layers underneath. Not that you need any layers underneath, it is extremely warm. Loving that there is a plus-size option as well Only complaint is that the only chest pocket is internal. Would love an external one to access my phone without having to unzip the front. Love the neck baffle to keep warm air in.

Do not wash this jacket and it attracts pet fur

I have never had a warmer jacket. With that said, my dog threw up on it today so I had to wash it. It said tumble low, cold wash, no dry cleaning. So I chose a cold wash with low spin and air dried it. All the down is now in little balls. This coat also has a texture that attracts pet fur quite a bit. I'm really bummed.

Love it!

I bought this to be my everyday cold weather coat. I have a short down jacket and a long down coat but wanted something easier to move in than the long coat and warmer than the jacket - and this coat is perfect for the car and for going out and walking around. I love the color (blue) as my other coats are black which is a more common color. The coat is very warm soft and cozy. I like the generous hood which can be synched when required and the interior pocket is also a plus. The only thing missing from this coat which runs large - another plus in my mind as I can wear as much heavy clothing underneath as I wish - is that the waist does not synch. A synched waist would both seal out the cold and help cut down the snowman look. One last thing - I do not see the function of the side zippers. On a longer coat they make sense, but this coat is already wide at the bottom and not that long to begin with. So with that i'll end with I am very happy to have it!

Best Warm Jacket EVER

I LOVE my new jacket. It is so warm. The down does its job perfectly. Fits TTS. Perfect length and i got the best color. I definitely recommend it.

Incredible Jacket!

This is an amazing jacket! It is roomy, warm and super comfortable! I love the way if looks and feels. I live in Seattle and I have worn this in the rain and it is super resistant. I love this coat!
