    Great Multisport Duffel/Pack

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I picked this one up with the hopes that it would be good as a rope bag. Can it be multifunctional? Absolutely. This bag had plenty of room to hold a 70m rope along with a full rack of draws, a harness, shoes, chalk bag, water bottle, and more! It has so many useful pockets where one even had a waterproofed liner that was perfect for my phone to hang out in while we crossed a river. If I had wanted I could have put more in it especially if it were a bike to the craig kind of day.

    Great Multisport Duffel/Pack

    Good for short trips

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

Lots of packing space with extra outside pockets for water/coffee container, travel documents. Fits laptop well in back pocket, where shoulder straps are stowed. Shoulder straps can act as handles. comfortable enough to carry as backpack - not suitable for longer hikes/walks. Great carry-on bag. One large inside space might need separating bags/packs for better overview.

    Great All Round Bag

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This bag is great. First, I measured it and it would count as carry on for most domestic airlines. Second, it is super durable. The bag can take a beating. Third, the bag is versatile. I used it both as carry on and as my daypack. The water bottle holder is awesome and the compartments are well thought out. I love the sunglasses compartment as well. Fourth, the trailkit is comfortable when carrying it. I had it go through the paces of the Atlanta airport and on multiple day hikes. Finally, the trailkit holds a lot of stuff. The shoe compartment, side pockets, and main compartment can hold enough stuff for about 4-5 day trip. For me, I put 2 jackets, toiletries, and enough clothes for a five day trip.

Is this bag carry on size?

    Best Answer

I am so sorry I did n;t see this question earlier. Absolutely it is carry on. technically 46L and lower, but I have seen 65L bags get onto carry on easily. But from a regulation aspect, yes, you are safe with the Trail Kit.

Thank you for the question -
