Great All Round Bag
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
This bag is great. First, I measured it and it would count as carry on for most domestic airlines. Second, it is super durable. The bag can take a beating. Third, the bag is versatile. I used it both as carry on and as my daypack. The water bottle holder is awesome and the compartments are well thought out. I love the sunglasses compartment as well. Fourth, the trailkit is comfortable when carrying it. I had it go through the paces of the Atlanta airport and on multiple day hikes. Finally, the trailkit holds a lot of stuff. The shoe compartment, side pockets, and main compartment can hold enough stuff for about 4-5 day trip. For me, I put 2 jackets, toiletries, and enough clothes for a five day trip.
Ready to Run
Having a separate compartment for my sunglasses and dirty shoes is a game changer! I am ready to run with this bag :)
Is this bag carry on size?
I am so sorry I did n;t see this question earlier. Absolutely it is carry on. technically 46L and lower, but I have seen 65L bags get onto carry on easily. But from a regulation aspect, yes, you are safe with the Trail Kit.
Thank you for the question -
