Why We Like The Stratos 34L Backpack
With the Osprey Stratos 34 Backpack, we're ready for any mountainous adventure whether it's hiking, climbing, or backpacking for a night. This pack fits all the gear we need for a day at the crag, food and snacks for a full day hike, or even the necessary equipment to spend a night out in the woods.
We particularly like how this pack's LightWire alloy frame optimizes our load's balance as well as enhances the ventilation system with the help of the AirSpeed back panel. Add that to the sewn-in spacer mesh at both the waist-belt and the shoulder straps, and we're ready to tackle anything in the mountains without a sweat.

Very nice and comfortable pack
- Familiarity:
- I've used it several times
- Size Bought:
- One fits all
I bought this pack as a replacement for my Gregory Stout 45L which was just too big for most of what I do. This pack was a perfect replacement. Size is exactly what I needed for my day hikes. After some pretty serious hiking in Tennessee I can say this pack was extremely comfortable and stayed in place no matter what obstacles I encountered. My only complaint would be the waist belt pockets. I wish they were more like the ones on my Gregory. For one they are almost impossible to zig closed with one hand. You have to contort yourself to get two hands in place to zip them. Secondly they are sort of small. Otherwise this pack is the bomb. I am very happy with this purchase.
