The Duro 1.5L Backpack is our choice of storage for sprinting up steep scrambles and dancing meticulously across jagged mountain top spines. One thing we often worry about on long, arduous runs is having the breathability and ventilation required to keep us regulated. Thanks to its almost-perforated Spacermesh 3D fabric, we get just that. The second most noteworthy feature of this distance running vest is its endless storage options: Osprey installed it with a whopping 8 pockets to pack tight all our trail essentials.

I'd return it if I
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'd return it if I could mostly due to sizing issues. I'm 6'3" with a chest of about 43". According to the size guide, I should be a large. Thankfully I was able to try on a large at a local shop (they didn't have any other sizes) and I realized that it was already going to be way too big i.e., was very loose with the straps tightened all the way; I could take it off like a t-shirt. I bought a medium and I find that it too is too loose: straps are tightened nearly all the way. Definitely a downgrade from my old and tore-up Duro 1.5 that had M/L sizing, adjustable straps on the side (something that would make the new pack much better) and I am surprised by the lack of magnet for the hydration hose. All and in all, it's too loose, moves too much, gets looser as you use up the water, and the lack of magnet makes me really wonder what the designers thought the hydration hose was going to do while running.

I bought this actually on sale and was looking for something to run with during my Spartan Super. I was able to fit all my honey stingers and go gels as well as grip powder in the bottom pockets. The pockets are the game changer for me. This was a great buy since I don’t like straps across my chest. It has 2 straps that sit comfortably in front of my body.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Excellent. Fits well, nicely lightweight, and holds all that I need. I loved my old Osprey pack, and this one is just as good, if not better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Vest fits great. Not a fan of the bladder design - particularly the inability to detach the hose from the bladder. The bladder is also difficult to clean. Like all the pockets. Would be nice if more than one pocket had a zipper or other fastener to lock closed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] If it’s hot and I need water and not much else, this is the pack. Not much extra space but not much needed. Can fit keys, a hat, gels etc.

I love the pack itself.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the pack itself. Very lightweight and comfortable to have on, but am not thrilled with the bladder that came with. Wish the drink tube had a quick disconnect from the bag. Would make it easier for filling, cleaning and storing. I did reach out to Osprey about this and they helped me out.

I’ve been wearing this hydration backpack for about three months now as I’ve been training for a marathon. It is very adjustable and has pockets that hold my phone and snacks. Highly recommend

Seems like a great bag - Fits large

Looks like an awesome bag but be aware that it fits big. I'm 6'2" and 200 lbs and the large was way too big. Shoulder straps touching in middle of chest when tightened appropriately. Will likely order another in the medium size
