Why We Like The Cloud Shoe

The Women's Cloud Shoe is On Footwear's light, casual running shoe that fits with active, on-the-go lifestyles. This shoe is built with maximum cushioning so we can run laps and run errands with cushy support and none of the added weight. On removed unnecessary Zero-Gravity foam out of the midsole to reduce the weight but kept just enough to prevent interfering with comfort. This unique design also adds flexibility to the grippy CloudTec sole for a responsive feel to our personal gait. Since the Cloud is all about speed and comfort, the Cloud's breathable, sturdy upper uses elastic drawcords so we can slip in the shoe and cruise to the store or around the block a few times.

Too stiff in the back of ankles

I bought these in December and hoped the stiffness on the back by my ankles would loosen up. I always wore bandaids and socks to cushion them. Unfortunately, I tried them again with no bandaid and ended up bleeding through them and limping home. I'm so bummed because the rest of the shoe is pretty comfortable and stylish. I just can't wear them and now they have so much blood so I can't return them either.

These shoes are very narrow and will not work if you have a wide foot. You will need to size up to make it work. Cute color and very light weight.

I only wear On Sneakers. They are the lightest and most comfortable. I bought the all black and the black and white. Have been wearing On for years! Backcountry is amazing ! Received them in two days with free shipping! The only con is that I have to replace every 6-9 months.

I got the black shoe and it is so stylish. Super comfy as well! Definetly runs a size too small, I am usually an 8. I wear these for walking the dog and running errands, some gym time and they are great.

These shoes are amazing! You not only feel like you are walking on a cloud, but the mesh front keeps your feet cool. You feel every fiber of these soles move as you move and they look so stylish! I was impressed by the little details they have on them, like a little Q (for the brand QC) as a grommet for your laces. * I will agree to order a 1/2 size larger as ordering true to my normal size leaves no additional room.

These are crazy light, it's weird. But, that's definitely the point and a huge plus. they are lightweight, soft, and look really good. So good that I will actually clean these from time to time, unlike my other shoes. Not sure how I'll do that yet, but that are worth polishing up, so to speak. I think this is an easy shoe to step into, for most people. They have designed a very comfortable insole. It's not overly produced to the point that it could cause issues for people, while still giving some support. They toe box isn't too narrow either, so you run more naturally in the toe-bed . I went true to size and they are just right. I'm usually a 9.0 and got the 9.0. A little surprise that I had with this shoe is that it's good on the dry trail, even though it's a road shoe. I wore them, not thinking, and was nervous to go down the steep, loose dirt. Turns out, they have a ton of traction! I wouldn't take them in muddy situations though. Maybe they are okay, but I don't dare risk it. The only issue I can find is that they will pick up the occasional rock. Not a big deal at all, but it's one complaint I can think of.

I just bought these as a casual shoe. They don't have a ton of support in the base, so I'm not sure how they would feel running. However, the shoe itself is super light and sleek. It pairs great with casual clothing as well as athletic gear. I love the ease of slipping these on without having to tie laces. They do have a narrow fit, so they can be a bit snug if you're used to roomier shoes.

I've worn these shoes around the office for about 6 months now. I've received a good amount of compliments and have heard other Gearheads feedback on the recommendation for the shoe. So far, everyone has loved them. I'm a true 7.5 and these fit real nice without any breaking in time. I actually wore them for the first time during a 10K. These were great on the road and again, great for office wear. If you're looking for some shoes that will keep you comfortable when you're on your feet all day. Look no further.

Walking on Sunshine

This is easily the most comfortable sneaker I have ever worn - at just 16 ounces a pair, I can barely tell I have shoes on. I purchased these as an alternative to my Adidas Supernova ST which I found were too chunky/too big for my low volume feet. The Cloud lives true to its name with its lightweight build and amazing Zero Gravity midsole - not to mention it is so sleek and low profile and just all around sexy. I wanted these mainly for commuting and travel - the elastic laces are a smart feature because they keep the shoe snug but make it effortless to slip them on or off (move over TSA!). They also come with regular laces if you prefer a more dialed fit. After wearing these for the last few days, I will 100% be purchasing another pair dedicated to trail running! Sizing: True to size with a slim fit - my regular size in most shoes is a US W 6.5 and that's what I ordered. If you have low volume or narrow feet, these shoes are a great option. (For reference, I have a size 6 in the Adidas Supernova St and they still feel too big/roomy).

This is my 3rd pair of ON Cloud and this updated version fits exactly like the original. Struggled with posterior tribial tendinitis for 4 years until I discover this shoe. Transitioned from Nike Free 5’s to these because I wanted a little more cushion. Nice lower profile, cushion but not too much, fits tts but I always go up 1/2 size of on running shoes.. The perfect neutral shoe for my picky feet.

This is my second pair. I purchased a different brand to try out after I wore out the first pair. I will NEVER do that again. Huge mistake! Within a few weeks I purchased me another pair of the Cloud shoe. I did order a half size bigger this time due to the thickness of my foot. Best shoes I have ever owned!

No wonder these are called the Cloud Shoe, they are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. For all of my running shoes in the past, I've had to purchase a new insole that costs another $50 on top of the purchase of the running shoe, not with these! They come with two different types of laces, one is an elastic lace as seen in the picture for a more casual walk about town completing errands, and the other is a classic lace with you can cinch down for a tighter fit to cross train and run. With the Zero Gravity (EVA) midsole, I feel like I can run forever (well maybe not forever, but you know what I mean) providing my foot with optimal comfort and flexibility to transition into my next step. I've worn them on 10+ mile runs and for running errands around town. They are my go to shoe for everything from training to a complete comfort and sleek effortless leisure fashion. If you've been wondering how these shoes fit , go ahead and give them a try! They won't disappoint! Sizing on this shoe is true to size, you want a little room for the toe box to be able to have slight mobility of the toes. I also got these in black since it goes with everything!

Just purchased my second pair of these shoes after wearing out my older ones. These shoes are so comfortable, I have worn them to multiple-day long trade shows, as my every day shoe, and for running in. They perform great and are sleek looking enough to wear every day without the "gym goer" feel.

At first I thought that I had gotten too small a size—usual size is 8.5, but these are very comfortable with light weight socks. Beautiful mulberry and blue color. Highly recommend.

These shoes come with regular laces if you prefer, but what attracted me to them was the elastic laces you don't have to worry about tying. Just slip them on and go. I was reluctant to buy these at first because I am used to buying shoes with memory foam inserts. These have a light arch for support and the traction is built to almost simulate a shock. I broke them in on several 11 hour shifts and was astonished at the results. No blisters, soreness around the toes or heel, and no ankle fatigue. I've never had that experience with shoes straight out the box. I do feel they run a tad bit small. They fit perfect with thin socks but a thicker sock would not work for me. Next time (and there will definitely be a next time!) I will order a half size up. Perfect shoe...love, love, LOVE!
