Perfect for paddling or floating along.
Given how comfortable you'll find the NRS Vapor Personal Flotation Device, it will take a conscious effort not to wear this buoyant vest into a bar after your all-day paddling party. 200D nylon covers ultralight foam to give this PFD durability and float without weighing heavily on your body. Designed to accommodate a range of wild arm motions, this side-entry vest won't slow you down in the annual milk-jug raft race around the lake.
Four side webbing adjustments and two adjustable shoulder straps give the Vapor a custom fit whether you're wearing only a swimsuit or bulked up with a rain coat. Stash your waterproof point n' shoot in the front zipped pocket to have proof that your homemade raft actually was above water for more than a few seconds. Defrost your digits by cramming your hands into the hand-warmer pouch while watching steam trails rise from the lake surface. A single lash tab is a convenient place for your pocket knife in case the on-water action gets a bit knotty.

- Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
Picked this up for river trips (mostly to avoid getting a ticket). But it's a great piece of gear. Very comfortable, easy to get on/off and adjust. The front pocket is super convenient for storing anything you need to have at the ready (like a flask).
Oh, and it keeps you afloat, too.
- Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions
My wife and I use this on our paddle board for safety and so we don't get a ticket when out on the reservoirs. This PFD still allows for easy mobility when paddling and fits comfortably. According to sizing, we went with a S/M so it would fit my wife but I can still fit in the smaller size even though my chest measures out to be 41. I love the front pockets easy access to put some essentials or goodies in. Even though we have only used it a few times, the fabric and stitching seam like this PFD will hold up for quite some time.
Great all purpose pfd
- Familiarity: I've used it several times
Bought for use with a Wilderness System Tsunami 140, fit's very well. Adds a bit of insulation in the late fall as well. Also used sailing and tubing. Very comfortable!
