Perfect Size

This is the perfect bag for over night canoe trips. It holds our 2 man tent, two sleeping bags, two inflatable sleeping pads and a change of clothes and we still have room for additional items. We put this dry bag to the real test on our last trip, when a rapid pushed us sideways into a downed tree and caused us to sink our canoe. Everything was submerged underwater but we slept in dry clothes that night! 😂 The back pack straps also make this really comfortable and easy to carry. Worth every penny!

I gave this bag a try on a multi-day canoe trip in the BWCA. It's a well-made, high-capacity, backpack style dry-bag. It's simple, seems durable, and sits nicely in a canoe. But it is NOT a good fit for carrying across longer portages. It has no waist belt to help bear the load, very little padding on the shoulder straps, and no structure or padding of any kind against your back. It might be perfect for carrying a few yards from your boat to a shoreline campsite, but it's painful on days with multiple 100+ rod portages.
