MSR Reactor and Alpha Coffee
Just used it over birthday week fishing at 8300 ft lake in Utah. It makes great coffee easier than my Keurig at home

Great Product
I do my fair share of back country hiking and multiple day canoe trips. I also crave good coffee. The Reactor Coffee Press allows me to enjoy a great cup of coffee no matter where life takes me. Great product, I high recommend it.

Beware: Doesn't work with all Reactors
It wasn't until I had pressed my first coffee in this until I found that there was no way to pour it out! I guess I have an older version of the reactor, and newer versions appear to have a strainer built into the lid. Without this, there is no way to pour the coffee. This is very disappointing; I wish I had have read the reviews here before purchasing, as it appears I'm not the only one who has had this problem. I assumed it was compatible with all 1.7L reactors, as it didn't state anywhere in the description that it isn't.

Great for trail coffee
I purchased the coffee press attachment earlier this season and am very impressed. This is my preferred method of making coffee whether I am base camping, car camping or backpacking due to its portability and ability to make coffee for the entire group. I really love that the coffee press attachment can be stored inside the put with the stove and fuel. I use the 1.7L system and would highly recommend this for couples and for groups up to four people. Work for a while.
I love this stove, but this accessory needs some work. The rubber seel has become mishaped over the years and has never worked as good as a real french press. Can't poor with plunger and rod in place. I would suggest MSR take note from other french presses and incorporate them into this accessory. I'm gonna buy a separate french presses that is light weight .

Fast way to make french press coffee in the morning
Packed the Reactor on a recent boating trip. Usually I opt for the monster coffee press on river trips but on this trip I wanted something simple. The Reactor Coffee Press was super straight forward to setup and making coffee took half the time than usual. Nice product if you need coffee to get going and want to bring a french press along.

Selling Point
While the Reactor stove is an amazing piece of kit in its own right, the coffee press was the selling point for us. We have tried many different presses with a variety of stoves or pots, THIS is our favorite!

Best Coffee outside ever had
I use it with the 1.7l Version and love to brew my home ground grains with it. Everything works perfect. I even feel that I find less powder on the bottom of the Cup as with my Bodum home press. It fits nicely in the DeepDish bowl which then dissapears on the bottom of the pot. Brilliant Piece of kit.

Needs Work!
This is by far the first MSR product that I'm not completely pleased with, poor design from top to bottom. First, the plunger is help in place by rubber that is was to flexible. Second, there's virtually no way to pour the coffee without trying to remove the lid.
