Great Choice
Great choice! I had used MSR Evo Snowshoes several years ago when I stayed at the Appalachian Mountain Club Joe Dodge Lodge near Mt Washington -they were better than the other snowshoes I had brought. So, this year I bought my own EVO’s -great fit, stayed tight on my feet and I felt confident as I hiked up and down snowy/icy slopes. Snow on!

The Best Snowshoes
I love a product that's so good - so perfectly designed - that it's just the obvious choice. These are those. You can tell MSR has been in the snowshoe game for a long time and has picked up everything there is to know along the way.

Snow shoes light enough for old folk
I love to snow shoe but now I am elderly. The classic snow shoes I have from years ago are heavy and large. My joints don't like it and it makes snow shoeing a chore. These Evo shoes weigh only 3 pounds and work great in the snow. I can snow shoe again without pain!

Upgrade in Design and Function
Excellent upgrade from a differently designed snow shoe I had been using for years. Easier and more reliable binding, a little extra grip compared to my old recreational level snowshoes.

Easy
We have several different types of snowshoes- the new step in bindings make these the easiest and most reliable bindings to use. The new strap design doesn’t allow for the ends to pass through unnecessarily. The frame is designed for good grip while not prone to collecting snow.

Took them on a 25
Took them on a 25 mile snowshoe. My feet stayed secured in the bindings just fine. No issues with the quality of the straps or buckles. I am 165lbs (190 w/ backpack) and the size worked just fine for the conditions. We were on a groomed service road for about 10 miles and then breaking trail for the rest of our trip. So we experienced a good pack down and the fluffy stuff. Only issue I had was, they do make a loud scraping noise that was echoing in my mind at the end of the day.

Love my new Evos
I am a long time recreational snow shoer but have never owned a pair of Evo's. When my current pair of Tubbs broke at the binding (as all of my prior equipment did) I began looking for another solution. I loved the easy in/out binding on the Evos and the rigid one piece design of the shoe is unique and working out well for me. It feels more stable than traditional tubular designs. The materials are rugged and I have plenty of traction on the trails. I would recommend Evos to any snow shoe enthusiast.
