Trango 4 Footprint

The footprint is a custom ground cloth designed specifically for the Mountain Hardwear Trango 4 and is not a universal footprint, so it’s best used with that tent only.

The footprint measures approximately 96 x 94 inches (243 x 239 cm) and is intentionally slightly smaller than the tent floor so the edges don’t stick out, which helps prevent water from pooling under the tent.

Listed weight is about 1 lb 6.6 oz (approximately 635 g) with a manufacturer minimum of 1 lb 4 oz (566 g); this modest weight addition is typical for a 4‑person expedition setup and is often accepted for the added protection and fast‑pitch option.

Yes, paired with the Trango 4 fly and poles the footprint can be used as a fast‑pitch or fly‑only shelter, and it secures with grommets at the corners for simple, stable attachment.
