Great rain jacket.

Excellent jacket, lightweight and doesn’t feel sticky. Good fit, not too baggy

Not waterproof at all

I expected better from this jacket. Used it backpacking on Vancouver Island this week and it soaked through in a half hour of meaningful rain. By the time I had the tent set up all of my clothing underneath was dripping wet. Despite being listed as waterproof the material absorbs water rather than repelling it. Either this particular jacket is defective or mountain hardwear doesn’t take their reputation seriously anymore.

Great Piece

Excellent shell. Very stretchy, lightweight, the right fit for layering. Great windbreaker for the Greek islands during the summer, haven’t managed to get it wet just yet.

Nice rain shell.

Great stretchy light weight rain shell. The upper chest pocket is great and isn't offered by other brands at this price. Quality waterproof YKK zippers and construction. Packs down into its pocket and works great for backpacking.

Not waterproof

Pockets were not waterproof. Hand pockets were wet after a 20 min walk in the rain with the dog.

NOT waterproof

Recent purchase. First use was a 25 min walk with the dog with moderate rain. Hand pockets and chest pocket all soaked through. One plus is how small it packs down.

Poor waterproof fabric

I used this jacket in a 4-day trek in Torres del Paine in Chile and got absolutely soaked in moderate rain. The fabric layer absorbs plenty of water and I had to get a plastic poncho instead. It was a very unpleasant experience unfortunately.
