This is a bombproof hard shell for really bad storms, there are only two things I would improve on this: - smoother zip closing - have the hood draw cord outside vs inside That’s it.

Cold weather shell

I use this jacket in 20 degrees below 0 weather as a shell over under layers. Keeps the wind out and keeps me dry

Toughest shell I own

What can’t I say about this shell? Durable enough for just about anything you need to do where water or snow can fall on you. 12/10 for me.

Solid so far

Only worn it once so far in the backcountry during a wintery mix storm, no complaints so far, fits as described (large is perfect, i’m 6’3” with a long torso), water proof and breathable. I love the variety of pockets for holding gloves and other gear. Quality.

A 5 star for sure

I love this! So well done. So many well thought out details. Love the chest and hand pocket placement and size. Great amount of storage with only 4 pockets that are placed to work perfectly with a pack on. Orange color is high viz without looking like a crossing guard and really looks good.

Rugged and clean

This is the ultimate tool for outdoor activies period. I used the exposure 2 GT-pro for the past 5 years and was already satisfied but it was lacking the side pockets. This new iteration called now the routefinder has 2 chest pocket and 2 side pockets. The deep black version is so clean. The fabric seems to be even of higher quality then its predecessor. The hood adjustment was redesign I would say. The finish of the interior has been reviewed also and will stand the test of time. Best new shell of 2023 by far
