Lamina 15F Sleeping Bag - Women's

A DWR (Durable Water Repellent) finish is a treatment applied to the fabric of your sleeping bag that makes it water-resistant. This finish helps water bead up and roll off the material instead of soaking in, keeping the insulation dry and effective. This is especially important for outdoor adventures, as it ensures you stay warm and comfortable even in damp conditions.

Temperlite is a synthetic insulation that offers several advantages over down insulation. It is lightweight, provides excellent warmth, and is resistant to moisture, making it ideal for various weather conditions. Unlike down, which loses its insulating properties when wet, Temperlite maintains its warmth even in damp environments, making it a reliable choice for camping.

Lamina construction is a specialized method used to build sleeping bags that maximizes insulation loft and warmth. This technique minimizes cold spots by strategically placing insulation where it is needed most, ensuring you stay warm throughout the night. The result is a more efficient sleeping bag that provides better thermal performance.

The European Norm/ISO Comfort Ratings help you understand how well a sleeping bag will perform in different temperatures. The comfort rating indicates the lowest temperature at which you can sleep comfortably, while the lower limit rating shows the minimum temperature for survival. These ratings are crucial for selecting a sleeping bag that meets your specific camping needs and ensures a good night's sleep.

A stuff sack is designed to compress and store your sleeping bag or gear for easy transport, making it more compact for packing. In contrast, a storage sack is larger and breathable, used to store your sleeping bag when not in use. It helps maintain the bag's loft and prolong its lifespan by preventing compression, ensuring your sleeping bag stays in top condition for your next adventure.

To choose the right sleeping bag, consider the temperature ratings, insulation type, and your specific camping conditions. Look for a bag with a comfort rating suitable for the expected temperatures during your trip. Additionally, consider the insulation type—like Temperlite for wet conditions—and features like DWR finish and Lamina construction for added warmth and comfort. This will help ensure you have a restful night outdoors.
