Why We Like The Expedition 140L Duffel Bag
The Expedition 140L Duffel makes sure we have plenty of room and security for hauling our precious equipment. The high denier fabric resists the tough terrain we often find ourselves in when hiking to that multi-pitch location. And if general travel is our cause that's no problem either. This cavernous bag can practically carry half our dresser in it.

LOVE THIS BAG
Great bag! Love the dual compartment inside; durable, smart with all the pulls/straps. Took it to climb Kilimanjaro. Worked out great

OMG....it's Jason Bourne
Purchased 5x to move the family around the world, airline tested. Bags are tough, thoughtfully put together, and easy to handle/carry.

Not YKK zipper
Took it on a week long trip to mount rainier waiting for conditions to allow a summit. Left it outside my tent and it is very weather resistant. After a week in the snow it did wet out but that was expected. It’s a bulletproof bag. The worst part of the bad is the zipper. They didn’t use YKK and it froze shut to the point I almost had to cut the bag. The temperature was mid teens and at that cold temp the weather resistant zipper would not open. Had to warm it up with my stove to get it open. Excellent bag in every aspect except the zipper

Bomber. Quality product. Takes me a bit to write a review because I would like to put it through its paces. I have been Alaska hard on this.

Quality Bag
No expense spared in durable construction. All zippers have heavy stitching and nylon straps that prevent the zippers from taking strain when the bag is locked down and thrown around. Don’t see any problems using and abusing this bag for years on trips.

Six stars
I was skeptical of the thin padding on the shoulder straps, but that has proved to be very comfortable even with heavy loads. I like the interior carrying handles and the bag compresses really tight and well. And the center compression strap makes it feel like the zipper is never under strain so it will last a lot longer and is easy to zip, even one handed. I love how big it is and I can easily fit all my gear for 8 day back country work hitches and can easily organize with smaller bags inside.

Awesome Duffle
This is a very capable bag. I also own some NorthFace Base Camp Duffles and i think the Mountain Hardwear Expedition Duffle is much better. The backpack straps have more substance and easier to wear for a longer distance. My bag will be carrying tree climbing gear as i hike in to find the best tree to climb

Great looking bag out of the box!
The field test will be coming soon, but out of the box this is a great bag! I think Mountain Hardware has been reading my mind as they designed this bag, it looks sturdy, able to haul a heavy load, and durable. The only change I'd make is making the divider between the lower and upper compartments to completely cover the lower gear. My previous Moutain Hardware purhcases have been durable peices of equipment...I have every expectation that this one will have the ame longevity.
