    Soft and warm!

    • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

Got this as a gift for my dad, who writes: "I love the base layer shirt, including the color and fit. I especially like the soft feel of the material. It’s softer than my base layer short sleeve from another manufacturer, though that might be a slightly lighter model. I’ve washed it already and block dried it and it came out like new. I accidentally used warm rather than cold water, which didn’t seem to do any harm. It neither shrunk nor stretched. Still soft. I’m wearing it now under a regular shirt. I can keep the house slightly cooler and stay comfortable and I’m ready to go out in our current cold spell of 10s and 20s temperatures. "

So nice I bought it twice

Great base-layer or casual shirt, on par with Icebreaker. 100% wool, can't beat that!
Versatile weight for many seasons/ conditions. Comfortable and soft, can wear it every day. I wish the stitching wasn't exposed, to wear on a night out, but the black thread blends well. Fits almost any activity.

I heard an endorsement for Minus 33 while watching a Dave Canterbury Pathfinder School video. This is first off a remarkably comfortable article of clothing. I am one who loves technical wear that doubles as everyday attire, so as to economize the purchase. You don't look like you're on your way home from the gym or just out of NFL mini camp when you're sporting this long sleeve crew. I purchased this specifically for snow shoeing in places like Michigan's Upper Peninsula and the like, and it has certainly answered the call. Warm yet breathable so as to keep you from soaking your base layer in an all out sweat. Still it stays warm even when damp and when accidentally left in a duffle bag for a week doesn't smell. Really everything you expect from a high end merino wool garment.

    Go-To top

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer
    • Fit: True to size

Used this skiing backcountry, lift access, climbing, fly fishing, running, grocery store etc, etc.

I wear it next to skin and some days all I need over it is a soft or hard shell may another layer or vest for colder days.

I really like the fit, not like UA compression but fitted. Lover the 100% merino, really helps with dry skin.

Also this is super easy care - machine wash and dry.

    Simply love it.
