Why We Like The Trail Glove 7 Running Shoe
Designed for minimalist runners, Merrell updated the fit of the Trail Glove 7 Running Shoe to optimize natural foot positioning and toe splay. A 14mm stack height adds a touch more cushion and support than the previous version, but the FLEXconnect dual-direction grooves in the midsole enhance the fit for uncompromised ground connection and flexibility.

Comfy right out of the box
I didnt even need to break these in, they were amazing on arrival. A little less toe room than the last version I bought but not a big deal.

Great for Zion!
My Merrell's took me on an amazing adventure through Zion National Park. They took me up Angel's Landing and a few other hikes in complete comfort. I have flat feet and have been unsuccessful in finding comfortable hiking shoes until the Trail Glove 7. They were great for hiking, canyoneering, and repelling. They were all grip and no slip. I will continue with the Vapor Glove 6 for my daily wear, but definitely love the Trail Glove 7 for my adventures. Thanks Merrell!

Beautiful shoe but too roomy for narrow feet
Too roomy for narrow feet. The sole was a perfect fit but the upper mesh didn’t provide a snug fit.

Too narrow
I love the idea of these shoes: lightweight, rugged soles, low profile. But they are far too narrow. Sadly, I will be returning them.

Great shoes for keeping feet strong
I’ve been wearing Merrell barefoots since 2011. My first pair cured chronic bilateral plantar fasciitis in less than 10 days. I keep going back to the shoes that keep my muscles, ligaments and tendons of my feet strong and healthy.

Happy feet!
Been a fantastic fit, I traveled all over italy, walking many miles with these shoes, and I feel like my feet got stronger and more flexible thanks to them.

Close second to Trail Glove 4
Was pleasantly surprised how much I like these! Bought these as my new barefoot running shoes. Previously, I'd been running in the Trail Glove 4s. I avoided buying the 5s and 6s because of the poor reviews, but it came to the point where I could no longer run in the 4s (wore right through the bottoms) so I figured I'd take a chance with the 7s. They've worked great so far! The toe area took some getting used too--the rubber from the bottom kind of wraps around to the top of the big toe, which felt weird at first. The toe box is also somewhat narrow for barefoot shoes (the 4s are still superior in that regard), but it doesn't feel cramped. Overall, they are comfortable and fit well! The one thing the 7s have over the 4s is that the laces seem a bit sturdier and there is some extra cushion around the Achilles.

Great for the trails or the streets! Wish they had better color options.

YAAS
I used to wear the New Balance Trail Glove 7, when they discontinued I found this shoe was similar & decided to try it out. It's even better! Super lightweight & breathable with a roomy toe box with an incredibly grippy sole.
