Not Durable

I purchased this jacket because I walk daily and hike often, frequently in rainy and/or windy conditions. I brushed against a blackberry vine and the jacket tore leaving a big hole (as pictured). I bought this jacket despite the very high price tag because it seemed like just what I needed, but it is not sufficiently durable for the variety of terrain that I travel. I do not recommend. I've had many Marmot products over the years and was surprised and disappointed by this.
