YIKES...I got wet
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is my third Bantamweight jacket and it wasn't water proof!...second time I wore it out in the pacific northwest rain, I got wet!...customer service will be replacing my jacket for another...thank you! the other two jackets of mine have remained waterproof...hopefully, this was just a one time bad jacket

Doesn't live up to the hype
This jacket looks good on paper but when I used this jacket it was not at all waterproof. It was soaked through within minutes. This can be dangerous if you are using this in the shoulder seasons for rain protection. I even tried retreating with nikwax tx direct wash in waterproofing. It helped a little but it still soaks through in minutes. I cannot rely on this jacket to keep me dry on trail. I hope Marmot can resolve the issue with the fabric not being waterproof as claimed. If this can be addressed this could be a great jacket.

Ultimate Alpine Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I keep this jacket permanently in my MTB bag, and bring it on every outdoor excursion I got on. I never notice the weight, but wow has it saved my butt when unexpected elements come in. Whether it's rain, snow, or a chilling, powerful wind, it's the best thing I keep in my bag for any of it.

Lightweight Waterproof Packable Jacket
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A ultra lightweight (I believe it's the lightest jacket Marmot ever sold) packable waterproof jacket that should be in your everyday carry (EDC), especially on rainy days, perfectly fit in your purse/backpack. Only downside is no XS size.
