Why We Like The Mammut Stoney HS Pant
Stretch, climate control, and storage: The Mammut Stoney HS Pant has it all for hunting down backcountry powder. The 2-layer construction is both impermeable and breathable, keeping us comfortably dry underneath, while the raised back and stretch gaiters deliver the added coverage required in deep conditions. Through the climb, the flexible fabric and outer-thigh vents boost mobility and airflow, while the thigh pocket keeps our beacon secure and within reach.

The perfect fit
- Size Bought:
- 8 short
I used to wear the Mammut Tatramar pants but they discontinued them and I think the Stoney are very similar. They fit perfectly. I'm 5'1 and 123# and the 8 short fit like they were made for me. I wear a thin baselayer under them. Perfect for backcountry touring. I love these pants.

Like, but runs small
- Size Bought:
- 8/L
- Height:
- 5' 8"
- Weight:
- 138
I like them, but I usually wear a size 6 in jeans and pants, sometimes a 4. I ordered an 8, and they are snug.

Very durable/quality material. Bought for skiing and they hold up great. Fit is fairly accurate- I'm usually an 8 and got 10 for a little extra room but I'd say they fit a bit snug. Insulation is nice so layering underneath is not totally necessary.

Love the fit of these ski pants. Great for downhill runs. The added layer of fleece in these ski pants is so nice. Wind/water proof, with plenty of room for an additional layer underneath on really cold days.
