Wham, bam, thank you Slam.

Mammut's Slam Pad, because crashing into Swiss quality foam is way better than a bunch of rocks. This is Mammut's smaller crash pad, ideal for boulderers working smaller projects or filling in the gaps of highballer landings. Unlike some bi-fold pads, the Slam Pad has a continuous layer of foam up top to reduce the chance of rolling an ankle when you land. Mammut added a foot mat so you don't grease up the rock as much.

Lightweight and portable

This is a lighter more portable pad then some. Still breaks falls with ease. I think the strap design is efficient and this pairs well with a thicker pad when tooling around packing multiple pads Sometimes it does quite want to unfold fully as it’s breaking in but the nylon will relax eventually.
