    Concorde Express Quickdraws

High-end climbing gearing is rarely priced with high-end dirt bag climbers in mind. But that's no longer the case thanks to the Mad Rock Concorde Express Quickdraw 6-Pack. The aluminum wire gate 'biners and Dyneema dog bones allow these smooth clipping draws to weigh in at a featherlight three ounces each.

    • Warm forged aluminum carabiners provide high strength with a low weight of just over three ounces
    • Strength rated at a burly 26KN along the major axis
    • Wire gates at both ends provide smooth clipping and easy cleaning
    • Dyneema dog bones offer greater strength and lower weight than traditional nylon slings
    • Individually tested and CE and UIAA certified
    • Item #MRC0124

    Bang For your Buck

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

These quickdraws have performed well. I have taken some 12ft (I weigh 140Lbs) falls on them without any need for concern. This product is perfect for beginners as they are relatively cheap yet are up to the task. Only down side I've noticed is the coloring began rubbing off within the first 10 climbs.

    Great Value Draws

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm just recently getting back into climbing after a few year lapse and realized I needed to refresh my rack. These draws have a great price and a quality feel. The carabiners and dogbone both seem premium and the gates snap closed with a secure feel, I would definitely trust these with a fall.

    Excellent light-weight quickdraw

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've taken plenty of lead falls 6-8 feet above the bolt on these things and trust them completely. Given the thin dogbone, they lay surprisingly flat to the wall.

    Awesome Value Draws

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

We're beginners to outdoor climbing and these are a great addition in the journey to owning all your own climbing gear. It always seems like you might need more and these draws will deliver a sturdy option for the beginner/intermediate climber.

    Great Beginner's Draws

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I got them few years ago when I started lead climbing. Mad Rock Concorde are small, kind of heavy (Concorde carabiner is 40g, by comparison Petzl Djinn is 44g and Wild Country Helium is 34g), rubber stopper isn't durable, but you can't find anything cheaper than Concorde.

My biggest complain is that Mad Rock (for some reason) switched gray and orange carabiners around. Gray carabiner (rope side) wiregate has different contour than orange (bolt side) one. It's barely noticeable, but it's there. Most companies (and by extension, most people) will have colored carabiner on rope side and gray carabiner on bolt side. When you start mixing draws from other brand, you have to watch out for Mad Rock Concorde when you re-rack after completing a pitch and swapping gears.

Beside, by the time I noticed the different color scheme, colored binner already developed nicks that I don't want ropes to run through it.
But if you are just buying this for the first time, definitely switch it around.

    Best Draw for the $$

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

This is the best deal in quickdraws right now, enough said.

That being said, the wide rope bearing surface and great gate tension on the bent-gate rope end carabiner (silver) keep em feeling great and lasting near forever. Madrock somehow gets their wires tensioned so perfectly.

Get em! maybe get a couple longer bones from another company as well (24cm are awesome!)

    Great price while staying safe

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I love these things. The price point alone is a great selling point, but they're light, easy to lip, secure, and they'll catch you in a pinch.

    Awesome Draws

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

These draws are super light and really easy to clip. They are great for a first set of sport climbing draws. I would definitely recommend them.

    Will Buy Again

Love my draws. Very affordable, very durable. There are few scenarios where I wish the dogbone was longer to prevent rope rub or some other out of the norm scenario, but like I said these moments are few and far between. Will be replacing these when my old draws need to be retired. Also very light weight which is nice, I prefer the wired gate.

      Why not?

      • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I like many others was a bit skeptical about these because of the wire gate but I've been pretty impressed with them.

It seems like these clip on a bit easier than my other ones which is really nice when you're barely hanging onto the rock with shaky legs, so I was pretty excited about that.

The webbing is narrower than on my other quickdraws so I'm not sure how long they will last but for the price I feel pretty good about them.

Let me tell you about these quick draws.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I decided to take some friends up on a last minute climbing/ camping trip to Mount Yonah, Georgia. As I was scrambling to get a pack together, I forgot to grab the quick draws I already owned… great thing to forget right?? I didn’t notice this until half way into the road trip to the mountain. Luckily, there was a shop I could stop by and snag some before hitting the wall. I came across the Mad Rock Concorde’s, and was skeptical at first. I wasn’t used to a wire gated quick draw, but the price point and amount was there. I’ll admit that I am not the biggest fan of Mad Rock climbing shoes, but these quick draws did outstanding! The wire gate made things so fast and easy. Light weight, durable, and affordable are some things that highlight this package. I would strongly recommend these for any beginner/ intermediate climbers as they will work perfectly for the routes you will be climbing/ leading. I’ve had these for a couple years and they are still holding strong as ever! If you have any questions about the package, or want to talk gear, let me know!

Let me tell you about these quick draws.

      Quality at it's finest.

      • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

These quick draws are about as close to perfect as they come. They are very lightweight but incredibly strong. A lot of people bash Mad Rock saying they are a cheap brand, but there is a difference between being cheap and inexpensive. Mad Rock absolutely nailed the execution of a quality inexpensive draw that looks and feels great. Great quick draw for anyone whether you are a beginner or a seasoned veteran.

      Great Draws

      • Familiarity: I gave it as a gift but have feedback to share

bought these as a gift for a friend and she loves them. They are light, super easy to clip and clean, and look pretty rad too. She said she would highly recommended them to anyone.
