    Wow!!

I have been skiing for about 35 years and have always had cold hands and feet at some point during the day and sometimes all day. My son gifted me these socks and what a lifesaver! We just returned from a 10 day ski trip to Whistler and the socks were a lifesaver. It took me a time or two to decide the best way to use the socks to conserve battery life for all day. I did not turn them on until my toes were a tad bit cold and made sure I turned them off when in the lodge. Some might say this is not efficient for the socks but it worked very well for me. If you can use them at the lower temperature, it helps with battery life as well. A great feature is that I could download the Lenz Heat App to control my socks on my smartphone. This was a game changer as well because it would have been difficult to manually turn the heat on my socks up and down. The app also allows you to set intervals for heat earth which is also great for battery life. I would have the socks heating for 10 minutes and off for 10 minutes and back and forth. The socks are a bit on the expensive side but I feel it was money well spent. The flexibility of adjusting heat levels with use of the free app justified the price point for me. Should you invest in warm feet, I hope you enjoy them as much as I do!!

Works but may not be for every ski boot

    Familiarity:
I returned this product before using it

It does work: heats foot (I tested in house only). But top is not very tight and did not go very well with my ski boot.

    A big fan!

My hands and feet get extremely cold from just the slightest winter temps. These socks are definitely a game changer for me! I've been wearing them out skiing. My feet are still slightly cold but for an average person they will keep your feet nice a toasty. The battery lasted for about half the day which was a bit disappointing, I'm excited to try these out for trail runs & hikes during the early spring and late fall.

    Just one small thing

    Familiarity:
    I've used it several times

Great product that works as advertised. Definitely keeps your feet warm and can last a full day of riding as long as you don't turn them all the way up. Bluetooth functionality is very handy and I haven't had any connection issues. My one complaint, just one small thing, is that there is no way (that I can see) to turn the batteries off, so you always have to charge them the night before you use them.

How thin are these socks? Are they padded in the toe? Which is thinner, these or the hot Tornio socks? Thanks

Hi Suzanne! These are a semi-thin pretty basic sock design. Comparable to a Darn Tough or Smarwool sock. The Hot Tronic's are going to be pretty similar with minor design difference but nothing drastic. Feel free to reach out with any other questions you may have!
