The La Sportiva Women's Mutant Trail Running Shoe is the next stage of evolution for the high performance trail running shoe world. Enhanced upgrades include the FustionGate lacing harness that uses high frequency reinforcements to wrap the breathable airmesh upper securely around your foot. La Sportiva also added its SpyralTongue for an even better fit, and a four-way stretch scree guard protects your foot without inhibiting mobility.
Underfoot, the Mutant sports a supportive injection-molded EVA midsole with TPU for a touch of stability. FriXion XF rubber makes sure the sole stays super sticky, and V-Grooves grab everything on the trail while the Impact Brake System lives up to its name. This shoe also features a high-cut ankle at the cuff for added protection as well as a secure fit.

Awesome shoes!
This is my first pair of La Sportiva sneakers and I'm in love with them. They fit my heal perfectly and I feel like they are just an extension of my skin on my foot. Will be buying another pair.

My go to shoe.
LOVE this shoe. Buy it again and again, and it has turned in to my primary. Fits amazingly, grips amazingly, can stand up to miles especially on soft ground.

Recently ordered my second pair!
I’ve been living in my Mutant Women’s for a number of years now, so much that I recently ordered my second pair — in love with the new and updated colour palette. The mountain running shoe is comfortable for all-day wear, provides excellent arch and ankle support, and features a great lacing system — my Mutants never untie on me! They are also an excellent option for those with a narrower, lower volume foot like myself.
