The La Sportiva Monument Pant is built from stretch fabric with articulated inserts, so a steep switchback or a fast scramble doesn't mean fighting the pant to get there. A three-part waistband system, elastic, hook and eye, and an internal drawstring, keeps the fit locked in through elevation changes and pace shifts that would work a simpler waistband loose. Four zippered pockets, including a dedicated thigh pocket, keep gear secure and within reach without slowing anyone down to dig for it.
