    Launch into space.

When you've got endless terrain, snow abound, and the amount of enthusiasm fit for a sugar-high five year old, it's tough to choose whether or not you want to peruse the skintrack, fly high on the lift, or sashay through the trees. Thankfully, the Julbo Aerospace Goggle Zebra Photochromic caters to both your uphill and downhill adventures without requiring that you take up an extra lens or scrounge up batteries that may-or-may-not be dead. Crafted with the unique SuperFlow system which enables you to pull the lens forward for full ventilation, the Aerospace Goggle eliminates fogging with its anti-fog coating and aforementioned technology and encourages optimal visibility with its photochromic Zebra lens that's specific for backcountry riders. The anatomic frame and cushy dual soft foam encourage ample comfort—perfect for day-long adventures in the backcountry or doing lift laps at the resort.

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

You know those goggles that get all fogged up and have like three sets of lenses depending on the conditions? Forget about them, these Julbo Aerospace googles are hands down the best goggle I've ever owned. When I'm ripping around at the resort on a bluebird day I can cruise the open bowl and then enter the trees without worrying about the light transition - the zebra lenses take care of that instantly. I primarily ski in the backcountry and I've always hated when I am skiing back to my car and it starts to get warmer and warmer, I normally have to stop and put on sun glasses, with the Aerospace goggles I can just pop the vent and ride out without that miserable hot/foggy feeling. I have a fairly small face but these goggles fit well around my nose and cheeks. I also enjoy the strap because it works well with a climbing helmet - it doesn't slip and fall off. I would recommend these goggles to anyone that skis, no matter if you stick to the resort or are a skimo racer.

    Highly Engineered Goggles

The "pop-out" ventilation feature on these goggles are amazing - this reduces any chance of fog. For cold and white-out condition days in the backcountry, this should be your go-to! The ballistic quality lenses are bullet proof and vision through these are insanely clear. Julbo designers - GREAT JOB SIRS. The tweed color option for the goggle band is also stylie.

    Best Goggle in the Game

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

I've been using these goggles for the last two seasons, and they're the best I've ever had. The pop-out lenses allow you to comfortably hike in the backcountry without fogging or needed to switch out for glasses. They're also perfect for storm days at the resort - if you start to fog up just pop the lens and let the moisture out. They're super comfortable, and the Zebra light lens is one of the best low light lenses I've ever used.

    Best goggles I've owned

    • Familiarity: I've used it several times

I'm very happy with the Aerospace. I've had a lot of issues with goggles fogging in the past and so far these things haven't fogged once. The hinging system works really well but I just wish they had more frame colors to choose from! They are comfortable and fit really well on and off my helmet. The lenses aren't interchangeable but the photochromic transition really nicely and I actually notice them getting darker and lighter. All in all I would recommend these to anyone who has an issue with fogging. They've worked great for me.

Is the orange flash/multilayer fire finish purely a style feature? Thanks.

Hey Michael - You are correct that there is a slight difference between the lenses. here is what I found on Julbo's website.

Multilayer Fire: Photochromic lens (cat. 1 to 3 - VLT 75% to 17%) for poor weather conditions as well as sunny skies. The red lens tint accentuates terrain relief.

Orange Flash: Photochromic lens (cat. 2 to 4 - VLT 40% to 7%) fast adaptation to lighting conditions, excellent vision under overcast skies, shaded areas or in the full sun..

Feel free to contact me directly with any additional questions.
