    Solid

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

An excellently crafted axe. The balance and weight are pretty perfect and the handle is smooth and light. These axes make an excellent gift or addition to your camping toolkit.

    Sharp and burley!!

I was amazed that you can probably fillet a piece of paper with this thing. The axe head is very very sharp. The handle is very quality. I don't think the wood is treated so it will probably change with time but it look awesome, works great, and has a cool looking leather sheath too!!

    So worth it

    • Familiarity: I've put it through the wringer

My entire life I've owned cheap hatchets and axes from the local hardware store. I was excited to invest a little more in a (still reasonably priced) axe to use while camping. I'm blown away by the quality and construction of this thing. I chopped through a ~16" diameter log in a surprisingly short amount of time. After a weekend of use the blade still looked like new. I high recommend this axe. I'll probably get the hatchet next!

    Swedish Axe for $99?

    • Familiarity: I've used it once or twice and have initial impressions

I honestly don't understand how an axe of this quality stays at the hundred dollar price point. It's exactly what I wanted in a camp axe and so far shows no signs of being low quality. Can't wait to get some more use out of it.
